BETHLEHEM: A group of Israeli colonists shot and killed a camel today in the village of Al-Rashayida, to the east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Hassan Brijieh, a local activist, told WAFA that colonists opened fire on a camel belonging to local Palestinian resident in the wilderness of the village, killing it.

Israeli colonists have been escalating their attacks on shepherds and livestock in the eastern wilderness of Bethlehem, with a recent assault resulting in the death of several sheep in the village of Kisan just last Tuesday.
