TUBAS: The Israeli occupation forces today assaulted Palestinian students and prevented them from accessing their school, in the village of Tayasir, east of the city of Tubas.

The head of the village council, Tayasir Haroun Wahdan, said that soldiers army raided the village and harassed the students from the secondary school.

Yesterday, the occupation forces tightened their military measures at the Tayasir checkpoint, checking Palestinian’ ID cards and searching their vehicles, causing a stifling traffic jam.

The checkpoint has hindered the access of Palestinians and employees to the northern Jordan Valley.
