Israeli occupation forces today attacked worshipers in the sit-in tent set up in the Al-Bustan neighborhood in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem. The Israeli forces attacked them after performing Friday prayers in the sit-in tent, where they demonstrate against the occupation’s plans to demolish homes, displace citizens, and target their property. Local sources reported that the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets and stun grenades at the worshipers, sprayed them with wastewater, and beat them up. The occupation authorities had recently notified a local Jerusalemite Nidal Al-Rejbi of their decision to demolish his house in the Al-Bustan neighborhood, as part of its policy of forcible displacement of Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem.
