Israeli soldiers Sunday evening forced Palestinians to close their shops in the town of Huwara, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus. Kamal Odeh, a Fatah member, said that the Israeli forces closed commercial shops in the town and closed bypass roads inside. WAFA correspondent said that Israeli forces also set up checkpoints in villages surrounding Huwara and intensified measures on checkpoints on Nablus entrances, claiming that they’re on a manhunt after an Israeli soldier allegedly was run over around the area.
