Israeli forces demolish homes, shacks in Nablus-area village

NABLUS: Israeli occupation forces today demolished several homes and shacks in the village of Duma, located to the south of Nablus.

Head of the Duma Village Council, Suleiman Dawabsha, said that Israeli forces, accompanied by two military bulldozers, stormed the southwestern area of the village, where they proceeded to demolish several homes and barns belonging to the resident of Kaabneh Bedouins, which had been erected for more than nine years.

The demolition operations threaten to displace about 50 Palestinians, leaving them homeless and without shelters despite the cold weather.

Israeli forces have significantly escalated their attacks against the said village. The attacks include the demolition of homes and barns and the distribution of demolition notices.
