Israeli forces detain 22 Palestinians, including three women, across West Bank

RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 22 Palestinians, including two female former prisoners and a woman, during large-scale detention campaigns, in the occupied West Bank, according to the Detainees Affairs Authority.

It said that Israeli army rounded up two former detainees, Aman Nafi’, the wife of the detainee, Nael Al-Barghouthi, and his sister, Hanan Al-Barghouthi, from the town of Kober, who is one of the detainees who were released as part of a swap deal.

He pointed out that the detention campaigns were distributed in the governorates of: Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Hebron, Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, and Jericho, where they were accompanied by acts of abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families.

Today, the occupation demolished the house of detainee Abdullah Massad from the town of Kafr Dan in Jenin, who has been detained since August 2023.

The total number of arrests rose after the seventh of last October to more than 7,422 persons.
