Israeli Forces Fire on Vehicle, Arrest Driver Near Jenin

Ya’bad, West Bank – In the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a vehicle this evening and detained its driver, as reported by Palestinian security and local sources.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA, the forces shot at the car as 19-year-old Mohammad Iyad Abbadi was driving near a school on the western outskirts of the town. Abbadi was forced out of his vehicle and arrested by the soldiers. While Abbadi himself was unharmed, the gunfire from Israeli forces also targeted several other vehicles in the vicinity. Subsequently, Israeli troops increased their presence in Ya’bad, conducting operations and setting up positions among the olive groves in the area.
