GAZA: Israeli occupation forces today raided an UNRWA-run shelter housing displaced persons in the southern Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City and detained dozens of men.

Eyewitnesses said the occupation forces stormed a shelter center in the Al-Rimal neighborhood and detained dozens of men. During the raid, the children and women were held by soldiers inside the center.

Following the military raid, dozens of displaced women and children left the shelter and sought refuge at the Baptist Hospital in the city of Gaza amid continued Israeli strikes and artillery shelling of western areas in Gaza City.

Since this morning, several centers sheltering displaced people have been raided by the occupation forces in the city of Gaza.
