According to the Fishermen Union Committees in the Gaza Strip, two Palestinian fishermen were shot and injured by Israeli navy’s rubber-coated steel bullets; including an injury to the head, while sailing within three nautical miles offshore the northwest of Gaza city. Israeli navy soldiers reportedly surrounded the boat, attacked it with rubber-coated steel bullets and water cannons, shooting and injuring two people. They were taken to hospital for medical treatment. In the meantime, Israeli army and bulldozers today infiltrated Gaza borders from the eastern part of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip, and razed land in the area. Sources said that seven Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by bulldozers, raided agricultural land to the east of the town Khaza’a, east of Khan Yunis, where they leveled land and vandalized Palestinian agricultural properties.
