Israeli occupation police today intercepted a visit by a Muslim Druze delegation to Al-Aqsa Mosque and forced them to leave the Muslim holy compound, according to the Islamic Waqf Department. It said in a statement that the delegation, who included three prominent Druze leaders from the village of Julis, in northern Israel, were guests of the Islamic Waqf and their visit was arranged for earlier. However, it added, the police intercepted the visitors when they were inside the walled holy compound and forced them to leave it despite the fact that they were guests of the Waqf Department, which is in charge of the Muslim Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. While Israeli police have kept Muslims out of their holy place, Jewish settlers and fanatics were allowed to enter it and walk around its yards provoking the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world.
