Israeli repression forces carried out a surprise raid today on Section 5 of Rimon Prison, where Palestinian prisoners are held, subsequently relocating all Palestinian prisoners held there to Nafha Prison, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS).PPS reported that the Ramon Prison administration also embarked on the closure of several sections, a move that would fuel an already tense situation in the Israeli prisons where thousands of Palestinians are incarcerated.Such moves often disrupt the lives of the prisoners and their families, making it difficult for them to maintain contact and provide support.The Israeli prison system has long been a subject of criticism from international organizations, with concerns raised about the treatment of Palestinian prisoners, including overcrowding, limited access to medical care, and reports of torture and abuse. The abrupt transfers and closures of prison sections further add to these concerns.
