Health Protection

An Israeli settler Friday morning shot and killed a Palestinian young man to the east of the northern occupied West Bank city of Qalqiliya, according to the Health Ministry. The Ministry confirmed that Israeli settlers gunned down Abdul-Karim Badie Sheikh, 21, a resident of Sanniriya town, south of the city, outside the colonial settlement of Ma’ale Shomron. Following the killing, Israeli soldiers barged their way into Sanniriya town, and ransacked several houses, including the family house of slain Abdul-Karim. Established in 1980, Ma’ale Shomron is one of at least five colonial settlements and three outposts that surround and overlook Wadi Qana nature reserve in the northern West Bank.
