Israeli settlers today grazed their sheep on Palestinian groves in Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, causing significant destruction to planted crops, according to a local official. Osama Makhamreh, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that a group of settlers grazed their livestock on a land planted with crops, belonging to local Palestinian residents. He said local Palestinians were denied access into their own lands by the Israeli occupation army during the presence of the settlers. Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
