BETHLEHEM: Israeli colonists Sunday set up two mobile homes ‘caravans’ on Palestinian-owned lands in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem.

The director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, Hassan Barijiyah, told WAFA correspondent that colonists set up two ‘caravans’ in the ‘Hanjaliyah’ area on lands owned by local resident Mohammad Uwaina, northeast of the town, adding that this is the fifth time that mobile homes have been set up in the same area.

Its area is about 100 dunams, with the aim of seizing it for settler-only purposes, he added.
