Amman: The Israeli occupation army’s spokesperson announced on Sunday, under the “allowed for publication” provision, the death of a soldier and the injury of three others during the ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
According to the Israeli newspaper “Maariv,” the occupation army spokesperson confirmed that the dead soldier belonged to the Kiryati Brigade, which is one of the primary regular brigades.
The occupation’s official statements indicated that a total of 195 soldiers were killed during the ground battles in Gaza, with an additional 1,193 wounded. The overall number of officially reported casualties has now reached 2,651.
