The Jamaa Islamiya clarified, in a statement on Wednesday, that the relief and emergency center hit by an Israeli airstrike in the town of Habbariyeh is not affiliated to the group.

“The National News Agency reported at 8:30 am today that the Lebanese Succor Association center targeted by an Israeli airstrike is affiliated to the Jamaa Islamiya. The truth is that the center belongs to the said association and the Jamaa has no relation whatsoever to it,” the group’s press office said in a statement.
