The so-called Temple Mount groups, who seek to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque and replace it with a Jewish temple, called on their followers to be present at the Muslim holy place during the Jewish Passover holiday, known as Pesach, and to slaughter their sacrifices inside its courtyards.

Jewish fanatics groups associated with the ‘Temple Mount Movement’ offered a financial reward for anyone who manages to slaughter an animal, or even for those who get arrested for attempting to slaughter their sacrifices inside the courtyards of the mosque, Islam’s third holiest site.

The extremist groups called their followers to march en mase to al-Aqsa mosque to mark the Jewish Passover, offering an award of 25 thousand Shekels to anyone who succeeds in sacrificing an animal inside the mosque’s courtyards, and 2500 Shekels for anyone getting arrested for the possession of an animal inside the mosque.

These provocative calls were made as the occupation’s army announced that a full closure will be imposed on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip crossings for the Jewish holidays.

At least 15 Jewish rabbis have reportedly sent a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding that they be given the green light to slaughter animal sacrifices in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound during the Passover holiday.
