Moderate and breezy weather conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in the highlands and the plains, as temperatures register a few degrees below the annual average, remaining below the 30 degrees Celsius threshold.
In the central, northern, and southern highlands, the highs will range between 25C and 29C sliding to around 13 degrees at night, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily forecast.
In the port city of Aqaba, warmer weather will prevail with daytime temperatures standing at 38 degrees, while lows will slide to 25 at night.
Also today, clouds will build up at various altitudes, making a chance for light showers of rain in the southeastern region, accompanied by thunder at times, the JMD added.
Over the next two days, similar mild weather conditions will persist, despite a slight rise in mercury levels on Wednesday, the Meteorologists noted.
