The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites of Jordan has directed imams and preachers across the kingdom’s mosques to perform ‘prayers for the absent’ in memory of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestine.

According to Jordan News Agency, This directive, issued in a circular to all Awqaf directors, was announced in a statement by the Ministry of Awqaf. The prayers are scheduled to be held after the congregational Friday prayers.
