The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s resumption of its aggression on the Gaza Strip after a seven-day pause this morning.
Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, the official spokesperson for the ministry, reiterated Jordan’s firm rejection and condemnation of the renewed Israeli aggression on Gaza. He urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and restrain Israel from committing further crimes against civilians while calling for an immediate halt to its reckless war on Gaza.
Emphasizing the importance of respecting international law and humanitarian law, Qudah stressed the necessity of providing international protection for the Palestinian people. He called for concerted efforts to halt the escalating war on Gaza and underscored the urgent need to put an end to the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in the region.
Qudah highlighted that the resumption of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza exacerbates the humanitarian crisis in the territ
ory. He underscored the critical need to stop this devastating aggression that has claimed the lives of thousands of innocent civilians, especially women and children.
Qudah renewed his call to the international community to take immediate action to impose a ceasefire and bring an end to the Israeli aggression.
The Islamic Resistance issued on Friday the following statement: ‘In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted at 16:40 p.m. on Friday 12-1-2023, the deployment points of Israeli occupation soldiers in the vicinity of Ramya site with appropriate weapons, and achieved direct hits.’
