Jordan Strongly Condemns Israeli War Crimes in Gaza

Gaza – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army in Gaza, particularly the recent targeting of displaced people at UNRWA-run schools. This condemnation was in response to the latest attacks at the Al-Fakhoura and Tal Al-Zaatar Schools.

According to Jordan News Agency, Sufyan Al-Qudah, the targeting of these schools represents a heinous crime and a flagrant violation of international law. He criticized the international community’s inaction in stopping the raging war and addressing the resulting suffering and humanitarian catastrophe. Al-Qudah reiterated Jordan’s strong rejection and condemnation of these acts, which contravene human and moral values, as well as the international humanitarian law, specifically the 1949 Geneva Convention on the Protection of civilians in time of war.

Al-Qudah highlighted the dangerous deterioration due to the continued absence of justice and protection for Palestinians and ongoing grave violations of international law. He emphasized the urgent need for concerted efforts to stop the war and Israeli violations of international law, including attacks on civilians, schools, hospitals, and places of worship. He also called on the international community and world bodies, especially the UN Security Council, to take decisive measures to halt the tragedy and aggression.
