Cairo: Jordan’s permanent representative to the Arab League, Amjad Adaileh, said, “His Majesty King Abdullah II and his international contacts and visits since the first day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza revealed the truth about the ongoing Israeli aggression and the crimes.”
He added in an Arab League extraordinary session on the Israeli war on Gaza that Jordan countered the Israeli claims that the war on the besieged enclave was self-defence.
“Jordan was the first to call for holding Israel and its officials accountable for the war crimes committed in Gaza and affirmed its support for South Africa’s case against Israel in the International Court of Justice,” Adaileh added.
He added, “Jordan employed all its capabilities to stop the Israeli aggression and the escalation of its illegal measures and terrorism in the West Bank. It also stood with its Arab brothers in confronting Israel’s desperate attempts to muster international support to justify its presence in the Gaza Strip after the war stops.”

aileh presented in numbers Jordan’s relief efforts through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Royal Medical Services since Israel declared war on Gaza.
He added, “HRH Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II supervised the preparation of humanitarian and medical aid for the brothers in Palestine. His Highness was the first prominent figure at the international level to arrive at Al-Arish Airport on board a Jordanian military plane that transported the medical team and equipment to the field hospital that Jordan established in Khan Yunis.”
Adaileh affirmed Jordan’s support for Arab League measures to stop the Israeli war, preventing the displacement of the Palestinians and ensuring the delivery of adequate humanitarian aid across Gaza.
