AMMAN — A drone attempting to cross into Jordanian territory from Syria, laden with narcotics, was intercepted on Thursday by the Eastern Military Zone forces.

According to Jordan News Agency, An official from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) stated that the Border Guards, alongside the Anti-Narcotics Department and military police, identified and thwarted the illegal crossing. The drone, carrying crystal substances, was seized and handed over to the appropriate authorities. The JAF source reaffirmed the forces’ unwavering alertness to contravene any infringement and maintained their resolute commitment to safeguarding Jordan’s sovereignty and security.
