Jordanian Engineers Association Submits Protest Letter to UN over Gaza Massacres

Amman – In a strong demonstration of solidarity, Ahmed Zu’bi, President of the Jordanian Engineers Association, submitted a formal protest letter to the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Jordan, Sheri Ritsema-Anderson, condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip since October 7. The Association, together with other professional unions, organized a solidarity march on Monday, starting from the Professional Syndicates Complex in Amman and ending at the United Nations headquarters in the Shmeisani area. The march aimed to express deep concern over Israel’s relentless aggression in Gaza and to call for urgent action to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, During the march, participants denounced the continuous brutal assault by the Israeli occupation on Gaza, highlighting the tragic loss of lives, including children, women, and the elderly. The demonstrators emphasized the need for the United Nations to enforce international law against Israel in response to the severe humanitarian violations committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The march and the submission of the protest letter are part of wider efforts to garner international support and intervention to address the critical situation in Gaza.
