According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting underscored the dire humanitarian situation resulting from the war against the coastal Palestinian territory. Both officials emphasized the urgent need to halt the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, protect civilians, and ensure adherence to international humanitarian laws. The meeting also highlighted the critical need for the swift delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza. Safadi spoke of the broader implications, warning that the continuation of the war poses significant threats to regional security, stability, and peace.
