Amman – The German-Jordanian Center for Labor Mobility was inaugurated on Tuesday by Minister of Labor Nadia Rawabdeh. This initiative is aimed at Jordanians seeking employment opportunities in Germany. The establishment of the new center follows royal directives to the government, initiated after a visit by His Majesty King Abdullah II to Berlin. Its primary goal is to facilitate access for qualified and skilled Jordanian workers to the German job market, providing them with essential information, advice, and tailored training to meet specific skill requirements. The inauguration ceremony, attended by Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Svenja Schulze, highlighted the government’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Germany.
According to Jordan News Agency, this includes a focus on improving Jordan’s vocational and technical training system and facilitating the employment of highly qualified Jordanian professionals in Germany. Federal Minister Schulze stressed that the center represents a significant step in creating employment opportunities for skilled Jordanian workers and addressing the need for specialized expertise in the German labor market. She also emphasized the ongoing collaboration between Jordan and Germany, aimed at optimizing the potential of Jordanian talents in Germany and fostering knowledge exchange across various industries.
