King Abdullah II Leads Efforts to Halt Israeli Aggression, Senate President Says

Senate President Faisal Fayez stated that King Abdullah II is actively engaged in international and Arab efforts to end Israel’s aggression against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to Jordan News Agency, the King has met with Arab and European leaders to urge an immediate end to the Israeli occupation’s attacks and to facilitate medical and relief aid into Gaza. Fayez emphasized Jordan’s stance of viewing the West Bank and Gaza Strip as a single occupied Palestinian territory and reiterated the King’s assurance that any solution to the Palestinian issue must encompass all lands occupied by Israel in 1967, including Al-Quds Al-Sharif as the capital of a Palestinian state.
