The price of Kuwaiti oil went down by 34 cents to USD 78.88 per barrel on Thursday as opposed to USD 79.22 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday.

At the global scale, the price of the future contracts of the Brent crude went up by 99 cents to USD 79.27 per barrel, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which went up by USD 1.40 to USD 74.37 pb.
