A delegation of the Kuwaiti National Assembly caucus, chaired by MP Thamer Al-Dhufairi, participates in the 146th conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Bahrain on Saturday, tomorrow.
The delegation partakes in sessions of general assembly and permanent committees as well as sustainable development, funding, trade, human rights and democracy commissions, Al-Dustor news network said in a statement Friday.
The Kuwaiti MPs also take part in the Forum of Young Parliamentarians and the Forum of Women Parliamentarians, in addition to meetings of parliaments of Non-Aligned Movement countries, it added.
The caucus includes its secretary Dr. Mohamamd Al-Mahan and treasurer Hamad Al-Obaid, and MPs Khaled Al-Tammar and Dr. Jenan Bu Shari.
