RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh signed today the cabinet’s decision approving a special system regulating the certification and documentation of deeds with notary publics leading the Lawyers Union to end its strike and return to work as usual. The strike began following the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council to suspend the notary system issued by the general assembly of the Lawyers Union in 2009. As a result of the deal, the union decided to stop all strike activities and return to work starting Sunday morning.
