DUBAI: Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its wise leadership for inviting his country’s government to attend the World Governments Summit (WGS) for the first time, praising its rich discussions and distinguished agenda.

Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), during his participation in the activities of the first day of the summit in Dubai, the Libyan Prime Minister revealed that his country is working on implementing the “‘Back to Life” programme in all sectors and services, including energy, infrastructure, logistics, education, health, and others. He also stressed that change and getting out of crises require government collaboration for sustainable development.

The WGS 2024, which is held under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’, kicked off today and will continue until February 14 in Dubai with the participation of more than 25 heads of state and government.
