An earthquake measuring 2 on Richter magnitude scale hit northwest of Jisr al-Shughur on Monday.
The National Earthquake Center said in a statement that a slight earthquake occurred at 15:21 local time, northwest of Jisr al-Shughur, about 8 kilometers and at a depth of 6 km.
