AMMAN — Chairman of the Lower House Palestine Committee, MP Firas Ajarmeh, on Thursday, decried the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip, labeling the situation as a humanitarian crisis with the area being converted into a large-scale burial site due to severe Israeli hostilities.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Israeli actions have had devastating effects, leading to the obliteration of neighborhoods and demanding an immediate cessation of hostilities to halt the destruction and prevent further loss of Palestinian civilian lives. Ajarmeh conveyed stark figures, stating that the aggression has resulted in over 8,800 Palestinian casualties from Gaza, including 3,650 children and 2,252 women.
