Egypt is keen on increasing projects in the the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), in line with the political leadership’s directives, affirmed Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.

The prime minister’s remarks came during his meeting Thursday 25/8/2022 with the SCZone Chairman Walid Gamal el Din, as Madbouli asserted the government’s keenness on removing all obstacles hindering upping investments in the area.

All drives aim to propel investments in this promising zone, he said, adding that it is considered the wheel of economic development is Egypt.

For his part, the SCZone chairman affirmed that the Authority is pressing ahead with implementing its 2020-2025 strategy down the road toward continuing previous achievements.
