Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Monday welcomed the Ambassador of Cuba to Lebanon, Jorge Leon Cruz, at his office in the ministry. The pair discussed current developments and the general situation, as well and bilateral relations and prospects for their enhancement.
Preparations for the media forum, “Operation Truth,” were also addressed during the meeting, where Minister Makary will participate and deliver a speech on the occasion.
The forum is scheduled to take place in Havana on the 21st and 22nd of January, following an invitation from the “Prensa Latina” news agency.
