Mandalawi calls on Japanese companies to expand their investments in Iraq

Baghdad, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received in his office today, Thursday, the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq (Futoshi Matsumoto); to discuss a number of files of mutual interest.

During the meeting, according to a statement by his office, they discussed the latest developments and political developments, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of cooperation at the parliamentary level to exchange experiences and visits, and inviting Japanese companies to expand their investments in Iraq, especially in the fields of oil, energy, infrastructure services and transportation, and opening wider horizons for cooperation to achieve the interests of the two peoples.
