Manpower Ministry: Thursday paid day off for private sector workers

Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said that Thursday, January 6, would be a day off for the private sector workers on the occasion of Christmas, instead of Friday, January 7.

 

In a statement on Tuesday, the minister extended his greetings to the Christians on the occasion.

 

Thursday would be a fully paid holiday for employees addressed by law no. 12 of 2003, he said.
