Mashat asserts need to boost food security cooperation efforts

Minister of International Cooperation Rania el Mashat underlined the need to promote food security efforts through cooperation among African states to confront challenges as regards supply chains.

During a meeting with Nigerian Minister of Finance Zainab Ahmed, the two sides tackled the global economic conditions and the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.

Their meeting, which took place during the IMF and World Bank Spring meetings 2022 in Washington, tackled global economic conditions and challenges facing development in Africa as well as the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
