MBZUH, Holy Quran Academy discuss enhancing scientific cooperation

SHARJAH: Dr. Khalifa Musabeh bin Ahmed Al Teneiji, Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah (HQA), discussed with Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH), ways to enhance and develop aspects of research and scientific cooperation, and exchange experiences and studies in the sciences of the Holy Quran.

This came during the reception of Dr. Khalifa Musabeh bin Ahmed Al Teneiji, in the presence of Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, accompanied by top officials from the university.

The Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah welcomed the university’s chancellor and the accompanying officials, and gave them a detailed explanation of the academy and its scientific and research projects.

He stressed the importance of scientific studies and research on the Holy Quran and its sciences, to which the academy gives all attention and places it at the top of its priorities.

He also expressed pride in the strategic p
artnership between the academy and the university, praising the pioneering role played by the university in the academic, research and scientific fields, which contributes to strengthening the research partnership, holding scientific seminars, and exchanging experiences with the academy.

For his part, the Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities stressed the strengthening of scientific cooperation with the Holy Quran Academy, the development of academic and research cooperation, and the exchange of experiences between the two sides.

He added that the academy is a major scientific and religious edifice supported by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as the academy includes many rare manuscripts and collectibles of the Holy Quran, in addition to its scientific projects.

He maintained that the academy is a cultural and scientific edifice of the Holy Quran. It explains its history, and the values, morals, tolerance and love it contains.

he Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, the Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and the accompanying officials, took a tour inside the corridors of the academy, during which they were briefed on the existing scientific and research projects.

The Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities and the accompanying officials expressed their thanks and appreciation to Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, and those in charge of its management, for the warm reception, and the two sides exchanged souvenirs.

The Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah and Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities organised several activities and exhibitions, including a scientific event that talks about the Holy Quran and its role in promoting social values.
