Mexican Embassy in Jordan, in presence of Mexican Ambassador, Roberto Hernandez, celebrated the 48th anniversary of the establishment of Jordanian-Mexican diplomatic relations. The ceremony saw announcement of the the Arabic new summary of the 2nd edition of the book: History of Mexico. According to an embassy statement issued Sunday, the book features details on Mexico’s history, which was completed with support of Mexican Foreign Ministry, Mexican Embassy in Egypt, and Jordanian-Mexican Friendship Association. At the celebration, the folkloric “Ballet Folklorico Amor de Mexico,” led by the artist Lolita Menchaca, presented dance performances, which reflected Mexican heritage and the country’s various cultures. The ceremony was attended remotely by Director of the Department of North American Affairs at Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sabah Rafei, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Mexico, Adly Khalidi, diplomatic corps in Jordan, and members of international and local organizations.
