Mikdad, Abdollahian discuss bilateral relations, economic cooperation in phone call

Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, made a phone call with Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, during which he discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.

 

Minister Mikdad also discussed, during the call, the economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the developments in the region and the regional and international issues of common interest.

 

Mikdad conveyed the greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

 

He expressed  satisfaction that his Iranian counterpart, Amir Abdollahian, had recovered, after he was recently subjected to quarantine due to being infected with the Coronavirus.

 

In turn, Minister Abdollahian invited Minister Mikdad to visit Tehran to follow up the exchange of consultations on issues of concern to the two brotherly countries.
