Mikdad receives credentials of charge d’ affaires of Nigerian Embassy in Damascus

Damascus, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad received on Tuesday the credentials of charge d’ affaires of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Damascus, Ibrahim Yunusa Muhammad.

 

 

 

Mikdad welcomed the charge d’ affaires of Nigeria , wishing him success in performing his duties.

 

He affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to provide the new charge d’ affaires with the necessary facilities and support to facilitate his work in Syria and his mission to enhance relations between Syria and Nigeria in political, culture and economy fields.

 

The two sides discussed joint stances on the war against terrorism which poses threat to the security and stability in the Middle East and Africa.

 

For his part, the new Chargé d affairs said that he will work to deepen and develop friendly relations between the two countries and coordinate in the common files.
