Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, arrived in Algeria on Monday evening to participate in its celebrations on the 60th anniversary of Independence Day.
Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene Airport, Dr. Mikdad was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra and Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab.
Lamamra welcomed the participation of Syria, represented by Minister Mikdad, in the celebrations commemorating the restoration of Algerian national sovereignty.
For his part, Dr. Mikdad expressed the congratulations of Syria’s leadership and people to brotherly Algeria on this great occasion.
