Ministry of Justice announced the cancellation of all procedures of search and arrest related to crimes stipulated in the Anti-Terrorism Law towards all citizens at homeland and abroad except those whose acts led to the death of a person or proved their continued affiliation to terrorist organizations or their association with other countries.

“In implementation of the rules of Legislative Decree No. 7 for 2022, which includes an amnesty on terrorist crimes committed by Syrians before the date of April 30th ,2022, all notifications and procedures (search – arrest – review) related to the crimes stipulated in the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 19 of 2012 regarding all Syrian citizens at homeland and abroad are cancelled, unless their acts caused the death of a person or proved their continued affiliation with terrorist organizations or their association with other countries” the Ministry said in a statement Saturday.
