Most Asian stock markets end Tuesday in positive side

Almost all major Asian indices closed Tuesday with increases, except for Japan’s Nikkei 225.

The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, rose 0.33% to 3,246.47 points as of 1047GMT.

Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 lost 1.42% to close at 26,945.67 points.

The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange, increased 1.36% to 19,258.76 points.

China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange was also up by 0.64% to close at 3,255.65.

India’s Sensex benchmark increased 0.77% to close at 58,074.68.

The Singapore index rose 1.09% to end the day at 3,173.93 points.
