The Muslim World League condemned Friday the desecration of a copy of the Quran by an extremist in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, “in a disgraceful and provocative repetition of Muslim sentiments.” In a statement by the League’s General Secretariat reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the League denounced the “absurd and heinous practices that contradict all religious and human norms and principles.”
