National Vaccination Days to follow up dropped out children launched

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry launched the National Vaccination Days campaign to follow up on dropped out children from the age of 1 day to 5 years.

Director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Razan al-Tarabishi, indicated in a statement to SANA that 1026 medical center, 579 mobile teams, in addition to 8842 health providers participate in the campaign.

 

Dr. Tarabish added that the campaign aims at completing the vaccines, registered in the national vaccination program, to the children and to follow up the dropped out children.

According to Dr. Tarabish, the campaign aims at assessing the vaccination situation of about 2 million and 700 thousand children in various provinces, indicating that there are more than 268 thousand children who have not complete their vaccines.

The campaign will last till November 24th.
