Baquba, A security source announced the issuance of new judicial arrest warrants against suspects in Al-Jayalah village incident in Diyala.
The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The security services carried out raids and searches to track down those involved in the armed conflict in village of Al-Jayalah on the outskirts of Al-Khalis district, north of Baquba, last Monday, which led to the killing and wounding of a number of civilians, including women.”
He added: “The confessions of some of the detainees in connection with the incident led to the issuance of new judicial arrest warrants against 14 other defendants,” indicating: “The security services are currently pursuing them.”
