The Israeli army assassination of three Palestinians near the northern West Bank city of Jenin was highlighted on the front page of the three Palestinian Arabic dailies published today.

With black background, al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam dailies said the Israeli occupation army assassinated two fighters and a youth from Jenin refugee camp near Arraba. The third daily, al-Quds, said the three included a child.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida quoted President Mahmoud Abbas saying that it is important to escalate the peaceful popular resistance to defend the people and lands.

It also said that the fascist Israeli cabinet minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, called for immunity for the settler who killed Quasi Maatan in Burqa village near Ramallah.

It said in a rare rebuke, the United States described the killing of Maatan as terrorism.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida quoted Hussein al-Sheikh, secretary-general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, saying that the racist Israeli government tries to improve its image with meager steps.

Al-Ayyam daily said the Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli jails have returned their meals in a protest step as five of them continue on their hunger strike in protest against their detention without charge.

It said the family of the Tel Aviv attacker received a demotion order against its home in Rumanah town, near Jenin.

It also said that demolition and stop construction orders were issued against 15 Palestinian homes in the village of Yatma, south of Nablus, while six Bedouin families were displaced east of Ramallah as settlers carried out attacks in the Jordan Valley and near Bethlehem.

The daily said a Hamas court sentenced seven people to death in Gaza after they were convicted of spying for the Israeli occupation.

It also said Hamas gave a license to a private company to find work for Gaza workers in Israel.

Al-Quds said the prediction of the head of the Israeli Shabac has come true: Jewish terrorism intensifies Palestinian violence.

It also quoted the former Israeli head of external security saying Israel is coming close to its end.
