Israeli occupation forces today chased and assaulted sheep herders in the village of Zanuta, to the southeast of Ad-Dhahiriya town in the farthest south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Fayez at-Tal, the mayor of the village, told WAFA that Israeli military vehicles chased herders while grazing their sheep, causing harm to some of the sheep.

He said these provocative Israeli practices are aimed at pushing Palestinians out of their lands in favor of the colonial Israeli settlement enterprise.

Earlier today, extremist Israeli settlers assaulted a group of Palestinian civilians and attempted to uproot trees in their lands in the nearby town of Tarqumia.
